I have amazing friends and family. Amazing. Every member of my family and every sweet friend I have, has done something to make me smile over the last few weeks. Every. Single. One.
I am incredibly blessed.
Today some very special and extremely talented friends at Conway Christian school unveiled the latest act of kindness bestowed upon me.
How cute are these shirts!
They are perfect! They brought some over for our family and I cannot stop admiring them. Love. Love. Love.
If you would like to order one, you may email my fabulous friend, Stacey Gallahar, and she’ll get you fixed right up!
Stacey and Amy Garrett, from Dazzle Me Tees, designed and made the shirts; they are such quality and they definitely pegged my personality on the design. I love the bling!
It’s been a tough week, my toughest so far. However, so many thoughtful friends and family members have made me smile, given comfort, prayed for peace, and soothed my aching heart this week.
It still astonishes me that so many blessings have risen up out of such a despairing time. That’s just how God does it my friends. The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy. God gives life; abundant life– smiles, joy, happiness, in the midst of the storm.
As I scrolled through my Facebook feed this morning I read post after post of so many who are facing challenges and heartaches. I hope they have friends and family like mine, that will love them through their storms.
And I earnestly pray that they know my God. He’s so good at binding up broken hearts. He is the ultimate giver of the peace and calm they are so desperately seeking.
If you are in a good place right now, thank God for that, it’s a blessing that should not be taken for granted. Enjoy these peaceful days. Thank God for them, and also, use this time to lift up one of your hurting friends. You would not believe how a simple text can brighten a tough day for someone who needs encouragement.
And if you are the one whose heart is broken, I pray God’s love will surround you and you will feel His peace. He promises never to leave us or forsake us. Hold on to that promise and allow Him to comfort your aching soul. The Bible tells us when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. God’s presence can always be felt when we need it the most.
Wherever this day finds you, on the mountain, or in the valley, remember to thank Him. We all have something to be thankful for, and regardless of our heart’s condition, God can use us in some way to help someone else. There is much joy to be found when we bring joy to others.
Love you my friends. Thank you for being so awesome!
Girl, love the shirts…yes, they are so you!!! GO, TEAM TINA!!!!
Tina, you really are the sunshine girl! Whenever I think of you it is as the beautiful, smiling little girl we called “The Princess”… Today as I think of you, I see all the reasons you were given that title and how it fits you so so well. And while my heart feels heavy for you, my mind takes wings and soars towards Heaven with the courage borrowed from you, and I am able to believe in miracles. So not only will I “Thank God” today – But, I Thank You Tina! Know that I’m on board!!! 🙂 I love you lil princess…. FYI: Houston is right up the street from me, so if ever ya feel like extra company, hugs, or just want a warm hand to hold – (512) 701-6236 I’m there. Love & prayers, Lisa
