Hi, everyone. This is Gena, Tina’s little sister. I have been a guest author here before, back in November 2014. I came from Hawaii to spend some time with Tina during her initial clinical trial, and while I was here at that time, she asked me to update the blog as she regained her strength.
At this time, I have come home on emergency leave from a project in Uzbekistan to spend quality time with Tina, and although she doesn’t have the strength to write herself, she is, as Tina always is, concerned about others, particularly those of you who are faithful to her blog and her story.
She asked if I would take this opportunity to share some information with you, as she is unable to do so herself. She wants you to know that things have taken a turn for the worst. She also wants you to know that she continues to trust God. She appreciates and covets your prayers, as always.
I asked her if she had a lesson she’d like to share, like she always does in her updates. At the time, she told me that she was too tired to really think and didn’t want to talk any more.
As we spent more time together, particularly as I shared with her my own struggles with my faith and what the future may hold, she reminded me that God is good. She encouraged me to hold on to the fact that He loves us, He is good, and no matter what happens, that remains true. We laughed a little that she did, in fact, have a lesson in there for us.
Please pray for Tina, Patrick, Maddie, Creed, and the rest of our family as we pray for Tina’s healing while seeking God’s will, provision, and peace. As always, thank you for your love and care for Tina; she loves you all as well.
Praying for God to soothe, comfort, protect & heal, knowing that His ways are not always our ways but believing that He does know and want, what is best for His children.
Prayers for sweet Tina and family. What an inspiration she is to all who know her! I worked with her mom at Ellen Smith and knew Creed at CCS. Hugs and Prayers for healing and restoration!
