I’ve got my pour over coffee in hand, my laptop fired up and am sitting outside in our backyard enjoying the rain that God has provided us today. It was a simple reminder that a little rain falls in all of our lives from time to time but God is still good, loving and faithful throughout life’s storms.
Today is a day of victory and celebration! Tina is dancing around the throne of God but is also probably being reprimanded for talking too much during worship service. Those who knew her will understand… she truly had the gift of gab.
Before I get carried away, please know that today’s service will be unlike most funeral services. Tina loved parties and wanted to make sure we celebrated life for her, not death.
Therefore, I plan to honor her wishes to the best of my ability. My request is that you simply remember me in prayer so that I have the strength to speak before you and not cry like a huge baby.
Three things…
1. Dress attire is casual. You can dress up if you want but it isn’t mandatory nor expected. Just come as you are and let’s be relaxed together.
2. The live stream will be open to the public. If you can’t make it, simply click HERE and join the celebration from the comfort of your own home, car or where ever you are.
If you want the direct link, it is http://www.firstnlr.tv/.
Service starts at 2:00 p.m. CST.
3. Many of you have requested to send donations instead of flowers. One of Tina’s closest friends is helping me setup a trust/scholarship fund for our children. Obviously, with all that I’m juggling, we haven’t had time to get this done yet.
However, we do have a Team Tina account that was setup years ago to help with medical expenses. If you’d prefer, you can simply send donations to that fund using the following address:
Patrick MacNamara
c/o Tina MacNamara Fund
PO Box 11332
Conway, AR 72034
In closing, please understand that my children and I whole-heartedly depend on our Lord and Savior for everything. So don’t feel obligated to do anything unless you truly feel the Lord directing you to do so. What we need more than ever is your prayers.
We love you!
I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers going up for all.
So sorry for your loss; Heaven’s gain! No more suffering, no more pain. You will see her again! Our prayers are with all of you.
